As I’ve explained before, I do not have a boss (as I’m the only one in my department), but multiple bosses, as many as departments exists and need my advice.
But there’s one that I specially call my boss as he’s the owner’s son. Although he’s been away on a trip, telephone calls can be so stressing too…
I’ve been telephonically pressured for 2 weeks, he’s been under a terrible mood so he has shared it…imagine your boss yelling at you and telling you you’re worth nothing and hangs the phone … and minutes later calling and saying he’s just found what he was looking for and hangs again.. no thanks words…of course… that although you’re not supposed to do the new drafts please make them as I don’t want to explain again the story to someone else… and please urgent…do you really check what you send? What a mistake you’ve done…
All those sweet words and more were said in a 48 hours period, more than 15 calls, the issue started with a small shitty mistake, that’s how he called it, made back in spring last year, that no one else detected until February 2010??? I did not admit it was a mistake because as he changes opinion often, that was probably done under a particular approach, and probably after he changed it as he always does without telling anyone else… and I’m not a fortune teller…so I opened Pandora’s box..
I thought I was sick…as I had all the symptoms of fever…that I do not really have.. and my stomach hurted so much I’ve not been able to eat normally…
I guess is just stress..
